Cardiff Walking District

One cannot help but think of the streets in San Francisco that you find in Cardiff's Walking District. The topography allows for many homes, even single story properties, to have awesome views of the ocean, whitewater, San Eljio Lagoon, and the panoramic coast depending on location.

Cardiff has building restrictions that prevent homes above a certain height, which helps to preserve some of the views and it’s important to verify this before you make plans to build or remodel.  There are both attached and detached homes, as well as condos and twinhomes. It’s common to find many homes built with a reverse or upside-down floor plan (living areas on top, bedrooms below, or some other variation) to take advantage of the views.
